  • Winotinger uses Medicham's cry.

Design origin

Winotinger is based on the mythical animal called a Wolpertinger, which is made using taxidermy to attach claws, fangs, wings, etc. to the body of a rabbit.

Winotlinger is almost certainly inspired by the 1950 movie Harvey, in which a man with a propensity to drink has an invisible 6' 3" rabbit or "pooka" that only he can see as his best friend.

Name Origin

Winotinger comes from wino (a term for an alcoholic) and wolpertinger.
