Toxic Spikes is a Poison-type move which creates an entry hazard.

One layer of Toxic Spikes causes opposing Pokémon to be poisoned upon switching in, while two or more layers causes opposing Pokémon to become badly poisoned. Toxic Spikes has no effect against Flying-type, Poison-type, or Steel-type Pokémon or Pokémon with the abilities Immunity, Levitate, or Magic Guard.

If a grounded Poison-type (which, for Uranium, means any Poison-type save for Tonemy and its Levitate ability) enters the battle onto Toxic Spikes, it will absorb them and remove them from the stage.

As of 1.0.4, it can be taught by the Debuff Move Tutor of Tsukinami Village Hotel for four Green Shards. In 1.0.3, Toxic Spikes could be taught by the Ultimate Move Tutor in Tsukinami Village for four of each shard. Prior to 1.0.3, it could be taught by an old man of Nowtoch City for free, if the player had at least 4 gym badges.
