Metal plates underneath its fur protect it from harm. It replenishes its energy by basking in the sun's rays.
Orchynx is a short, quadruped kitten-like creature with three metal rings on its body: one on its front left leg, one on its right hind leg and one on its tail. It has a bulb at the end of its tail that is tipped in white. Its body is a dark green, with lighter green stripes on its forehead and running down its back. Its eyes appear to be closed and Orchynx has white spots on its cheeks. Despite having metal on its body, Orchynx is reasonably nimble.
Orchynx's tail is its main source of attack. It can be used physically to bludgeon enemies with the heavy metal ring around it. The bulb on the end can shoot powder and create energy leaves that can be thrown into whatever is threatening it.
Wild Orchynx are rare, almost an extinct species in natura. To make it even worse, they are shy, which is what caused the extinction risk, since they have problems finding mates. To improve the hardness of their metal rings, they are known to steal small metal objects and eat them.
Orchynx lives in large forests that it was born in, and is known to stay inside bushes during the day and only leave at night. They are known to nest on top of trees.
