Magnet Rise is a Electric-type move that negates Ground-type moves.

User is immune to the damage of Spikes and Toxic Spikes, and is unaffected by Arena Trap. Magnet Rise is completely negated by Gravity and Ingrain. Magnet Rise can be transferred by Baton Pass. Magnet Rise is removed if the user is hit by Smack Down.

As of 1.0.4, it can be taught by the Buff Move Tutor of Tsukinami Village Hotel for four Yellow Shards. As of 1.0.3, Magnet Rise could be taught by the Ultimate Move Tutor of Tsukinami Village for four of each shard. Prior to 1.0.3, it could be taught by an old man in Nowtoch City provided you have at least 4 gym badges.
