Draws in all Electric-type moves to boost its Sp. Atk stat.
Lightning Rod is an ability introduced in Generation III. So far, 2 Pokémon have this ability.
Effect
In battle
Lightning Rod forces all single-target Electric-type moves to strike the bearer (including those used by allies) as well as giving the Pokémon immunity to all Electric-type moves. Lightning Rod also raises the bearer's Special Attack by one stage if hit with an Electric type move (this includes Electric-type Hidden Power and Natural Gift).
If another Pokémon becomes the 'center of attention', Electric-type moves will be directed to it instead of to the Pokémon with Lightning Rod. In Triple Battles, Lightning Rod cannot redirect Electric-type moves if the Pokémon is out of range.
Outside of battle
Lightning Rod has no effect outside of battle.
