Inflagetah (In-fla-GEE-tuh) is a Fire-type Pokémon.

It evolves from Flager by using a Fire Stone on it. It can Mega Evolve into Mega Inflagetah when holding Inflagetite.

Pokédex Entry

Pokédex entry Inflagetah's [sic] are some of the fastest known Pokémon on earth, able to outrun even a Rapidash. They can reach speeds up to 200 MPH.

Biology

Inflagetah is a sleek, quadrupedal, feline Pokémon resembling a cheetah. It has two long pointed horns resembling those of a gazelle. Its body is yellow, with red markings on its forehead and its four slender legs, which end with small pointed feet. It also has red eyes, a brown nose, and a tail which is marked with red stripes along its length and at the tip. Flames can be seen spewing along its back and from its back legs. Inflagetah is one of the fastest known Pokémon, able to outrun the likes of similarly fast Fire-types such as Rapidash. It has the ability to run at top speeds of 200 miles per hour.

As Mega Inflagetah, its back becomes slightly arched and its horns change shape, becoming curved and looking more like motorcycle handles. Its red eyes are now blue, with black sclera. Its thighs become more circular-shaped, giving it a stockier appearance similar to a motorcycle. It gains additional markings along its back and legs, with the feet becoming yellow. Its tail splits into two shorter tails, with a huge orange flame blazing out between the tails. It also sports eight small metallic pipes which emit blue flames. They are similar to exhaust pipes, and there are two on each thigh.

• Inflagetah is one of two Pokémon that do not change their abilities when Mega Evolving, the other being Drilgann.
• Mega Inflagetah has the highest base Speed stat of all Pokémon in Pokémon Uranium.
• Inflagetah is one of five Pokémon capable of Mega Evolving at level 2 or lower, the others being Kiricorn, Sableye, Syrentide, and Whimsicott.

Design Origin

Inflagetah seems to be based off of a cheetah and a gazelle, animals typically found in the African savanna. Its Mega Evolution has elements of a motorbike.

Name Origin

Inflagetah's name is a combination of inferno, conflagration, and cheetah.
