Pahar are intelligent and are commonly kept as pets. They can even be taught to talk, although not to the degree of Chatot.
Biology[]
Physiology[]
Pahar is a small bird Pokémon that resembles a parrot in appearance. It has a red body and yellow feathers on its wings. Its beak is yellow, and it has white patches behind its eyes. It has long feathers on its head and tail and a flame marking on its chest.
Special Abilities[]
Pahar can breathe fire. They can also learn how to impersonate words and phrases from humans.
Behavior[]
Pahar are smart, curious Pokémon that are generally well-mannered and easy to raise. They can be quite loud however.
Habitat[]
Pahar form large flocks in the wild and are known for their large cross-region migration patterns. They eat fruit, nuts and insects.
A Nuclear Pahar was available via Mystery Gift during August 2017 for Pokémon Uranium's one-year anniversary. Nuclear Pahar, along with Nuclear Palij and Nuclear Pajay, are the only Pokémon distributed as a Mystery Gift that can be encountered in Randomized Mode. Since Randomizer prevents wild Pokémon from having their Hidden Ability (except if hunted via Poké Radar), Nuclear Pahar, Nuclear Palij and Nuclear Pajay can only be encountered with the line's two regular Abilities: Flash Fire and Big Pecks.
Nuclear Pahar was not obtainable through normal gameplay until 1.3.0, however, it did not have Nuclear-type moves.
Prior to 1.3.1, Nuclear Pahar's only Nuclear moves were Nuclear Wind and Half-Life.
Design Origin[]
Pahar is based on a parrot and includes elements of a phoenix. Its crest indicates it may be based off of a cockatoo, while its red and white colour scheme is similar to an eastern rosella or scarlet macaw.
Name Origin[]
Pahar's name comes from an anglicization of the Spanish word pájaro, meaning bird.
