It evolves from Smore when leveled up while knowing Incinerate, learned at level 16.
(Note: Pokémon that evolve via moves must either know the move before leveling up, or learn the move upon leveling up. For example, a Pokémon that does not learn the required move but is taught it via the Move Expert in Venesi City must be leveled up again before it will evolve. It is also possible to breed offspring that already know the required move and will evolve immediately upon leveling up as long as the required move is not replaced.)
Its belly is filled with super hot lava that it sprays at its opponent through the nozzle on its abdomen. Its aim is precise.
Biology[]
Physiology[]
Firoke is an insectoid Pokémon that resembles an ant. It has a black exoskeleton with red stripes on its head and back, six legs, and a large abdomen. It has a nozzle on the end of its abdomen that allows it to spew fire at its foes. Its internal body temperature can rise beyond 600 degrees F.
Special Abilities[]
Firoke stores hot lava in its abdomen and can spray it out of the nozzle on the end.
Behavior[]
Much more aggressive than its pre-evolution, Firoke are brave Pokémon who will never back away from a larger foe. They are highly obedient and will follow their trainer's orders without question.
Habitat[]
Firoke are only found in the wild in the Anthell and Victory Road Volcano, where they jealously guard their territory from intruders. In the wild, they share a hive mind with the other bugs.
Firoke appears to be a literal fire ant. It may also be inspired by the bombardier beetle, which can eject noxious, high-temperature chemicals from its abdomen.
Name Origin[]
Firoke may derive from a combination of fire and stoke, smoke or provoke.
