Dual Chop is an offensive multi-attack Dragon-type move.
As of 1.0.4, it can be taught by the Physical Move Tutor of Tsukinami Village Hotel for four Red Shards. In 1.0.3, it could be taught by the Ultimate Move Tutor in Tsukinami Village, at a cost of 4 of each type of shard.
Effect[]
The move strikes twice in a row. Each strike:
- has an equal chance to be a critical hit (or to flinch if the user is holding a King's Rock or Razor Fang), has an equal chance of activating Cute Charm, Poison Point, Static and Flame Body.
- will activate Weak Armor, Infuriate, Gooey and Rocky Helmet.
Bide and Counter will only acknowledge the second strike of this move.
If the first strike activates the target's Focus Sash, Focus Band, or Sturdy, the second one will cause the defending Pokémon to faint. A Focus Band can still activate again to prevent fainting, but this chance is independent of the previous one.
