Dive is an offensive and utility Water-type move. The user dives underwater during the first turn, becoming semi-invulnerable and immune to weather damage before attacking on the second turn. Only Surf, Whirlpool, and moves used after Lock-On or Mind Reader may strike the user while underwater.

It is contained within HM08, given by Professor Bamb'o after completing the 7th Gym. It can be used to dive underwater outside of battle. Areas that contain Dive spots include:

• Final room of The Labyrinth
• Route 14
• Route 10 (currently inaccessible)
• Route 15 (currently inaccessible)

Its item counterpart is the Scuba Gear.
