Biology

Physiology

Antarki is a small, purple ghost Pokémon that resembles a scorpion in appearance. Its eyes are always closed. Its claws and tail are clutching a ball of fire. It always levitates a short distance off the ground.

Special abilities

Antarki walk the line between the living and dead. They can communicate with recently-passed souls and guide them safely to the afterlife.

Behavior

Very shy and elusive, to the point where many don't believe they exist. It's not clear whether Antarki have memories of their past lives, but they generally aren't very trusting.

Habitat

Antarki appear wherever there are many souls of people and Pokémon.

Design origin

Antarki is based on a scorpion and a star. More specifically, it is based on Antares, the brightest star in Scorpius, the scorpion constellation. Like Masking and Dramsama, it is also based on a character from Hatoful Boyfriend named Nageki, who is a ghost that died in a fire.

Name origin

Antarki comes from Antares and Nageki.
